SWISS AND GERMAN EMIGRATION
Dr. William H. Egle, of the State Library of Pennsylvania, has furnished
the author with the following list of the Swiss and German emigrants of the
Sayler and kindred names. It is taken from J. D. Rupp’s 30,000 names of German
and Swiss emigrants who came to Pennsylvania during the year 1727, and
afterwards. It will be noted that the names of Daniel and Jacob Sayler are not
included in this list. The reason is that they came prior to the year 1727. The
following is the list. First is given the name, then the date of landing, the
name of the ship on which they came, and lastly the port from which it sailed:
